Kina Park | 박기나 Violin

An active soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Korea, Kina made her debut with Kiev National Chamber Orchestra at the age of 14. Since then she has been a prizewinner of numerous competitions including the Strad Magazine Competition, American Fine Art Festival Golden Era of Romantic Music Competition, Nan-pa (Sung-jung) Competition, Kye-myung University Competition, Busan Music Edu. Committee Competition, Korea Herald Music Competition, and Korea Music Newspaper Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with Virtuoso Ensemble, Haffner Sinfonietta, InKorean Orchestra, and Busan Philharmonic Orchestra. Also she has performed in festivals including Aspen Music Festival, Banff Music Festival, and Miyazaki Music Festival. Born in Korea, Ms. Park received her bachelor’s degree at Seoul National University, master’s degree at New England Conservatory, and the Doctor Musical of Arts degree at Boston University. Ms. Park served as faculty at Concord Conservatory of Music from  2016-2018 , and she recently joined the adjunct faculty of Phillips Exeter Academy. She has been featured as concertmaster of Haffner Sinfonietta and Hwaum Boston Chamber from  2009-2014 , and since November 2014, she has been performing regularly with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Minjung Chun | 천민정 Viola

Minjung has been the winner of the Korean Chamber Orchestra Competition, the Music Journal Competition, the Sungshin Women's University Competition, American Protégé Competition, the Korean National Journal Competition, the Segye Daily Newspaper Competition, and the Kukmin Daily Newspaper Competition. Her appearances as concerto soloist with orchestra include performances with the Philharmonia Boston Orchestra, the Yewon Orchestra and with the Rumanian National Orchestra. She performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport. She earned degrees from Boston University, Yale University and The Korean University of Arts. She is now a faculty of Boston Music Institute and is involved in the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Yoon Won Chung | 정윤원 Piano

Yoon Won received his degrees in Piano Performance at the University of Michigan, Rice University, and Longy School of Music of Bard College. His teachers include Zalina Gurevich, Christopher Harding, and Leslie Amper. He has received further musical instructions from Anton Nel and Ann Schein at Aspen Music Festival and from Sandra Wright Shen at Brevard Music Center. He has received additional music instructions and coaching from Peter Takács, Levon Chilingirian, Vadym Kholodenko, and Peter Serkin. He currently teaches piano and music theory at Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra and Music School, Providence College, and Brown University. He also composes music, and he has received composition instructions and coaching from Daniel Crozier, Bright Sheng, Paul Schoenfeld, and Paul Brust.



Marc Pasciucco Cello

Marc is originally from West Hartford, CT and has degrees from Swarthmore College, the London School of Economics, and Boston University. His principal teachers include the late Dorothy Fidlar (Hartt School of Music), Peter Wiley (Curtis Institute of Music), and he currently studies with Carol Ou of the New England Conservatory.  He is a long-time member of Mercury Orchestra and the Brookline Symphony, and has also appeared with the Apollo Ensemble, Lowell House Opera and the Longwood Symphony.  He is a winner of the 2020 Brookline Symphony Concerto Competition and will make a future appearance with the orchestra performing the Haydn C major Cello Concerto. An avid chamber musician, he has been attending the Chamber Music Conference at Colgate University for over a decade.  Outside of music, Marc enjoys tennis, reading, and cooking.  He currently resides in Brookline with his wife Sarah and two sons, Max and Jamie.  

Cholong Park | 박초롱 Piano

Specializing in new music, Cholong received her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Florida State University under the guidance of Dr. David Kalhous.  She is a founding member and pianist of two chamber groups: an award-winning ensemble and 501(C)(3) non-profit arts organization What Is Noise and a Boston-based mixed chamber ensemble Some Assembly Required. Cholong made her Carnegie Hall debut performing solo and ensemble works with What Is Noise. Park released her CD albums with trombonist Justin Croushore in 2017,  What Is Noise in 2019, and Some Assembly Required in 2020. Recently, Some Assembly Required was chosen to be one of the finalists for the American Prize Ernst Bacon Award for the Performance of American Music.
Besides her music career as a pianist, she enjoys a role as Artistic Director. She has been involved as Director of International Affairs at DMZ International Music Festival in South Korea and as Artistic Director of “Voices of North Korean Refugees,” dedicated to raising funds for North Korean refugees. This year, Park directed a special event “Her life as a Comfort Woman” to recognize ‘Comfort Women’ issues, to raise awareness about human rights, and to build the State of Peace in Boston. She holds an artist certification from the City of Boston.

Nicholas Southwick Flute

Nicholas is a freelance flutist and instructor in the greater Boston area. He is the core flutist of the Juventas New Music Ensemble, co-founder of the Acadie Duo, and enjoys a busy performance schedule with orchestras and ensembles throughout New England. A passionate instructor, he serves on flute faculties of the Concord Conservatory, Tufts University’s Community Music Program, and Ipswich Schools. [ www.nicholassouthwick.com ]

Hyun-ji Kwon | 권현지 Cello

Hyun-ji currently maintains an active schedule as soloist, chamber musician, and pedagogue. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree at Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, Korea, Master of Music and Graduate Diploma at New England Conservatory. She
completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree program in Cello Performance at Boston University’s School of Music,in the studio of Rhonda Rider. She is currently a faculty member of Phillips Exeter Academy and Project STEP.
